[WLG] Looking for Cello and Keyboard players for alt-folk project
Posted: Wed Jan 31, 2024 1:44 pm
Hi, I'm looking for a Cellist and a Keyboard player to play with for a show coming up near the end of the year, and ideally a few gigs leading up to it. I'm a singer songwriter, I've already had practice performing most of this bunch of songs solo but want to fill out the sound a bit.

I have written Cello and Keyboard parts as a starting point and for demo purposes, but I'm hoping to find some people who can bring a bit of their own style to their part and make it a bit more interesting. I'm also open to trying out other instruments for the cello part if someone is confident they can do it on something else i.e bass guitar. Also open to trying out drums for the right performer.

I have a demo of 4 (soon to be 5) of the 8-10 songs recorded with my home setup here: https://mouseperson.bandcamp.com/album/untitled-demo
these were recorded on my phone so the sound quality could be better.

Biggest influences for this project probably would be Sparklehorse, Cat Power, Angel Olsen, Julia Jacklin, Mogwai.
If this sounds like you send me a message and I'll get back to you ASAP. Have a nice day!
