Recently, a quarterly report by the NZ Music Industry Commission announced that SKA-B-Q 2005 (featuring The WBC, Stitchface, Quarter Two, The Forcefields and Task One) was the biggest local show at the Kings Arms of the year so far. After the disappearance of Skafest, SKA-B-Q is now NZ's number one annual ska event.

Planning for SKA-B-Q 2006 will begin shortly to ensure it will be bigger and better than ever. There will be both Auckland and Wellington dates in February/March. Lolly Legs presents (organiser/promoter) is wanting all interested bands to send a CD/demo, bio and any relevant press material to:
