RounDUp: It's all about to happen

The vibrancy of the Christchurch music scene has shown itself again this year with yet another amazing response from entrants for the Dux-de-Lux RounDUp 2005.

There are over 50 entrants, a lot of them new. Check out all the acts at http://www.rdu.org.nz/.

The heats will be held in the afternoon on Saturday the 10th, and Sunday the 11th of September, so come and support your favourite band – get that “crowd response” box ticked by the judges.

Speaking of judges….

The two heats will be judged by:
Saturday:
Hat – RDU’s station manager
Fleur de Lis– Singer and guitarist for the Dialtones and long time Christchurch music supporter

Sunday:
Pip – RDU’s Drive host and programmer
Andrew Hensley – The host of “The Sheep Technique”, RDU’s New Zealand music show, Wednesdays 9-11pm

From the heats, 12 acts will go through to the semi finals on the 15th, 16th, 22nd, and 23rd of September, leading to the final on October 1st.
