Shut Eye Records is searching for new talent! We are now accepting demos/press kits in the areas of alt-country and folk rock. Shut Eye has released music by more than 300 bands and artists from around the world in almost every genre of independent music.

3) WANTED: SANTA'S LITTLE HELPERS:

Once again Heart of the City are major sponsers of Farmer's Santa Parade and preparations are well under way for a festive season to remember! We now want to put the word out to any grown-ups out there who are happy to participate by donning some of the more bulkier costumes. So if you think you possess a hidden talent for singing Christmas Carols or just want to help out a smile on the kids faces, the organisers want to hear from you!

4) SITUATIONS VANCANT:

Arts Manager and Tour Manager Tautai Contemporary Pacific Arts Trust, funded by Creative NZ, welcomes applications for a fixed term contract position based at its Artstation Auckland office.

The role include administrative functions for Tautai, supporting and encouraging Tautai members, and pursuing initiatives for the growth of the organisation. Some flexibility in the days worked will be considered. This position may also suit a person wishing to work part time in a job sharing arrangement.

The successful applicant will demonstrate that they are highly organised and self motivated to achieve objectives determined in conjunction with the Trust Board. They wil be willing to take on a wide range of tasks to develop Tautai as an advocate for Pacific art and artists. They will have some experience in cultural networking, an understanding of arts administration and a committed interest in Pacific creative practise. Proficiency in office computing and word processing will be necessary along with a demonstrated ability to deal witha diversity of contacts.
