New Zealand's freshest freestyle hip hop MCs are at it again this week, battling their butts off for the top spot in this year's New Zealand MC Battle for Supremacy. Invited guests include Mareko from Deceptikonz and 2002 National MC1 Champion Tyna from Dubious Bros will take on all corners from around Aotearoa, with judges King Kapisi, MC Antsman and event organiser WordPerfect whittling down the field to one winner on the night.

Performing in between battle rounds are beatbox based live band Medical Clan, Dawn Raid recording artists R.E.S and Mr WordPerfect himself, who'll be previewing material from his soon-to-be-released debut EP 'Spell Check'.

The NZ MC Battle for Supremacy 2002 takes place at the Wyndham Bowling Club this Thursday 07 Novermber. Those interested in entering the battle should turn up at 10pm for registration.
