1) NEW AGE MUSICIANS WANTED:

If there are any New Age musicians out there writing and recording music which fits the criteria as detailed in the following letter, please email Sam Wicks at Radio NZ on [email protected]

'I am working on a programme for National Radio that will explore New Zealand musicians who have fused their particular genre of contemporary music with an alternative spiritual or esoteric philosophy of some description and I was wondering if there are any artists or groups in the New Zealand New Age scene that you might be able to recommend me to - I am particularly interested in contemporary or popular-cultural sounds being used as a conduit for a metaphysical message by local artists.'

5) NEW YAHOO GROUP FOR SONG WRITERS:

'I have opened a new Yahoo group dedicated to the craft of song writing. I think NZSongs is just fine as it is, and to fill it with lyrics, critiques of lyrics, critiques of critiques, rewrites of lyrics, critiques of rewrites, and all sorts of discussion about melodic hook, lyrical hooks, song structure, rhyme and metter, well it is going to just clutter up this list a bit, so with compassion towards what NZSongs is providing, there is now a list just about song writing.'
