Arch Hill 'studio' for hire

Arch Hill Studios is primarily used to record material for Arch Hill Recordings - the record label. However, often the facility is not being used for the record label’s purposes, and therefore, is available for other recording projects. Artists on Arch Hill that have used the studio include Fang, Lanky, David Mulcahy, Ben & Greta, along with many others.

Arch Hill studios records digitally on to Pro-Tools, but has a well used
selection of off-board analogue pre-amps, EQ, compressors, effects and other equipment.

Equipment:
System: Pro-Tools24 5.1.3 on a Mac with extra DSP farm card.
- Mackie 16 channel mixing desk.
- Genelec 1030A Monitors

Pre-amps:
- 2 Art PROMPA dual valves
- JoeMeek VC7 dual Solid State Aphex 107 Tubessence Dual Valve

Compressors
- Focusrite
- ART valve
- Drawmer

EQ
- Joe Meek
- Drawmer

Effects
- Lexicon
- DP4+

Microphones
- Nady Tube
- Electravoice
- CAD
- Earthworx
- AKG
- Shure
- Ocatva

Rates:
Between $200 - $500 per day, depending on times, engineers and so on. Hourly rate also available.

Note that any prices exclude extras such as dat tapes. CDs etc

Rehearsal room:
Arch Hill recordings is primarily a recording studio but on occasions there may be space for the studio to be used as a rehearsal room. The studio has priority - rehearsal can only be booked one week in advance and must be finished by 10pm.
