Aotearoa Live In London Posted: Wed Apr 2, 2003 11:27 am The premier showcase of New Zealand talent is on again this year at London's famous Fabric Club. Two nights - the first on June 5, the second on August 21 - are part of a wider initiative to expose New Zealand music to foreign markets. Last year the Fabric gigs were billed as the 'Return of Aotearoanz' featuring Fat Freddy's Drop, Nathan Haines and Pitch Black. More than 1700 people attended. This year's gigs will go under the banner of 'Spacific' but will push the ideas of the 'underground sounds of Aotearoanz'. The line up is yet to be confirmed. |
