Waikato Studio Helps Bands

A Waikato studio has been set up to help new and emerging artists to be heard throughout New Zealand.

New music is only now starting to emerge on the Aardvark lable, one band of which completely challanging the stereotype of what Waikato music is.

Aardvark takes the raw recorded sound and enhances the demo tracks with high enough quality for airplay on various radio stations. As well as recording, Aardvark helps with profiling, promotion, marketing, licensing and design, and is currently setting up a web site to feature each artist to a New Zealand audience.

Eventually, Aardvark hope to release a compilation of top Waikato bands for the rest of New Zealand.
