This three hour workshop, including question time, will cover how to effectively structure your Music business activities. This workshop will be facilitated by Glen Gernhoefer.

Topics include:

- Factors, including taxation and risk management, that need to be considered when determining appropriate ownership structures for music managers and their artists. (e.g. partnerships, companies, sole traders and trusts)
- Overview of common tax deductions available for small to medium sized businesses e.g. Home Office and Motor Vehicle
- Agreements for multiple shareholders/partnerships which provide a mechanism for setting boundaries for peoples actions, disagreements and entitlements
- Brief overview of taxation implications when doing business offshore
