World Battle of the Bands set for 2004

Plans are well underway for the World Battle of the Bands, the international version of the annual New Zealand Battle of the Bands, run by Intergalactic Records/Andrew Featherstone for the last 11 years. The first of many World Finals will be held in Auckland later in 2004. Phase 1: Pacific Rim, will see New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and Los Angeles as the participating regions. Is there going to be a New Zealands Battle Of The Bands 2004? When are they normally held and when can you start entering? Sorry we are newcomers to the music world, we don't know anything about Battle Of The Bands.
Oh good morning by the way! 6am is the earliest I've gotten up for a while! Cool ay? I'm quite proud....

Yeah... you'll be entering the NZ heat (or something like that) of the world battle of the bands. I'm guessing it's still the same as last years battle of the bands but there's an extra level after you play at the NZ Battle of the bands finals.

The battle of the bands website http://www.worldbattleofthebands.com should be up within the next two weeks with all the details of the competition and online order forms.

The heats usually begin mid year, and I believe the New Zealand heats will be running at the same time of year as normal. Heats in the other countries involved will begin earlier.

The World Final will be held in Auckland
