Twisted Media Ltd would like to announce their plans to take their online audio-streaming service, Twisted Radio, to the next level.

Twisted Radio will be re-launched within the next few weeks as a full-blown FM radio station in Auckland on 107.7FM. Studio premises are under construction and will be conveniently located on Karangahape Road in central Auckland.

Spanning genres including Progressive, Breaks, Trance, Hard Dance, Techno and Hardcore, Twisted Radio should provide a wide range of music from some of New Zealands leading DJ\'s, and a heavy focus on new and up-coming Kiwi DJ\'s and electronic music producers.

A call for (experienced or new!) DJ\'s and Selectors (Show hosts who pick songs rather than mix them live) has been placed on various dance scene websites, and those interested in having show should email [email protected] or if possible send a demo CD to:

Non-Auckland DJ\'s and hosts who would be prepared to pre-record shows or sets should also contact Twisted Radio regarding show possibilities.

While Twisted Radio has been available on FM in selected areas using an automated playlist for some months now, coverage will be expanded and improved, and should be receivable on 107.7FM in the Auckland CBD, central suburbs, and parts of the North Shore. Twisted Radio has also pledged to work together with other Low-Power FM Radio broadcasters to ensure minimum interference and maximum show genre compatibility.

Twisted Radio will also be available nationally and internationally via a web-stream on www.twisted.co.nz at both broadband and dial-up compatible bitrates.

Advertising and sponsored shows will be available at highly competitive rates, although there will be a focus on keeping commercial advertising to a minimum to preserve maximum listener pleasure.
