Top New Zealand Producer Simon Holloway from Beaver Studios will be bringing his production expertise to the table for this workshop series.

If any of the following applies to you - you will find the workshop/s extremely valuable:

. You are planning on applying for NZ on Air funding
. You have been applying for NZ on Air funding and have not been successful
. You have completed recording projects in the past and haven't achieved the result you had hoped for
. You are about to commence your first recording project and need some guidance on how to achieve the best result with the best value for money
. You want to record music that will achieve chart success


The workshop will be run in 2 parts - you can choose to do just the first part or both of the workshops.

1st session: Tuesday 2nd October 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Atwaters Musicworks,
141 Hobson St, Auckland Central.
Maximum 20 participants

This clinic/workshop will cover the following:
. Preproduction
. Selecting an engineer/studio/producer
. How to work with a producer
. How to approach the recording project
. Strategic planning of your project and your recording career

2nd session: Tuesday 23rd October at Beaver Studios in Upper Queen St, Auckland Central. Maximum 10 participants This clinic/workshop will be more interactive and you will have the opportunity to obtain feedback on any activities you have completed since the initial workshop

Cost: First session only $30
Both sessions: $60

Bookings are on a first come, first serve basis and will only be confirmed once payment is received. Payments are non-refundable, but may be transferred to someone else if something happens and you can't make it.
