After hours of deliberation and professional advice from one of Auckland's
top voice specialists, Atlantis Management and Fur Patrol are incredibly
disappointed to announce that Fur Patrol will be unable to perform their
showcase in Auckland at the Kings Arms tonight, Wednesday the 12th of
May.

The advice that we have been given is that Julia Deans, Fur Patrol's front
person has potentially done irreparable damage to her vocal chords, due to a viral infection and a hectic touring and promotional schedule. While it is
too soon to tell exactly what damage has been done, we hope to find out
definitively tomorrow. Unfortunately the risk is too great to take and if
Fur Patrol go ahead with the show, Julia will almost certainly permanently
damage her voice even further.

We wish Julia the speediest of recoveries and hope that the report tomorrow
will be the good news we all want to hear.

In anticipation of Julia receiving the all clear, Fur Patrol will endeavour to reschedule their show, at a venue to be confirmed in Auckland. Please stay tuned for further details as they come to hand

Fur Patrol is no longer performing at this gig - however Goon, Matar and Milk Milk Lemonade will be.
