NZ On Air is not an endless bucket of money but you might be an endless fountain of creativity. Lucky for you, Handle the Jandal is back and super keen to showcase your audio visual feasts, but only if they’re made without government funding.

Welllington’s Radio Active 89FM is calling for entries for the Handle the Jandal NZ Music Video Awards. Open to anyone with a music video for a NZ musician or band that has been independently funded, the emphasis is on ideas ideas ideas, originality and ingenuity.

Get your entry forms from http://www.radioactive.fm/ and be in the chance to win golden jandals in categories of Concept, Cinematography, Editing, Animation, the Best Use of Exploitative Tactics to Promote a Band and there’s also the Rising Star Award.

Videos are due by 2nd August and the event itself returns to the majestic Embassy on the 15th September. Email [email protected] for more details.
