The APRA roadshow 'APRA Under the Spotlight - Publishing and New Media' comes to Wellington and Auckland this week, featuring speakers from APRA Australia including Brett Cottle, CEO, and Hannah Cornwell, General Manager of Wellington-based publishing company Native Tongue Music Publishing.

The roadshow opens with an 'APRA for beginners' session, followed by a special focus on Publishing and New Media. The beginners session is the direct result of an email survey APRA conducted with its members last year, where one of the most common requests was for more information about APRA itself! The second session looks at, amongst other topics, the question of how APRA is dealing with the proliferation of music use in new media, such as ringtones and digital downloads. The Roadshow is designed to be an open and informal discussion forum rather than a series of presentations: questions will be very welcome.

While the APRA Roadshow is an event for APRA members, non-APRA members are also able to attend. Due to limited numbers RSVP is essential. Please email [email protected] or phone (09) 379 0638 ext209 or 0800 69 2772 by Monday 9 August 2004.
