August saw the first New Plymouth Record Fair, which turned out to be such a success that organisers are now taking the concept on the road to other centres!

Next up is the Tauranga Record Fair, scheduled for Sunday October 10 at The Temple (17 Harington Street). Admission is $2 from 10am or, if you want to score that vinyl rarity before anyone else does, you can plonk down $10 and get pre-emptive strike admission from 9am.

The same timing and pricing applies to the Palmerston North Record Fair, which is on Sunday, December 5th at the Community Leisure Centre at 569 Ferguson Street.

The fairs include everything from '50s rock 'n' roll to '60s-'70s progressive rock to '70s-'80s new wave to soul, funk, dance, folk, jazz and blues. 10+ traders/dealers/collectors with stalls covering all of the above and more.
