As you might have heard by now there is a conscious movement happening over Easter down in the Catlins.

The Catlins River Festival is a 2-day music festival that takes place at Woodstock Lodge on April 23rd and 24th, a beautiful property located in the middle of a natural amphitheatre, surrounded in bush and native Beech, and bordered by the Catlins river itself, 7 km from Owaka and a short drive from Balclutha towards the coast.

What I've been trying to create since it's inception is a positive vibe that reaches into the greater community and offers an event that people can come to, feel inspired and be happy.

What I am looking for is a team of creative folk who share the passion and want to be involved in something a bit different, a forum where they can be creative and apply their talents to help make this festival truly unique and FUN!!

So if you have skills in all things art, whether it is performance, roving, juggling, stilts, site-decorating etc... then we would love to hear from you!

Perhaps this might not your thing but you think you would make a great team member and want to help assist the crew? That is fantastic as we need people to help us with things such as recycling, parking cars, rubbish, toilets and just making sure everyone is safe and having a good time. You don't need to have any skills or experience, just a willingness to help out and a good vibe.

In exchange for six hours of your time we will provide you with entry to the festival. Also, feel free to stick around on Monday and help us clean up. We will be having a small shindig for volunteers and crew which features an awesome hangi and a few records...
