There’s no bigger accolade for a new act than opening the Auckland show of the Boost Mobile Hook Up Tour in front of over 2,000 people at ASB Theatre on Saturday 30th April. During the school holidays, one lucky person or group will have their dream come true thanks to Dawn Raid Entertainment and Boost Mobile.

And that’s not all! The winner will also have the chance to launch their music career with a recording contract at Dawn Raid Studios.

Submit a demo tape, CD or VHS of an original track or a cover of the Hook Up tune to Dawn Raid Studios before 11th April 2005 and the lucky winner will get an opportunity of a lifetime:

- A recording session with Brotha D of Dawn Raid Entertainment valued at $2,500
- The ultimate hook up …. opening the Auckland show of the Boost Mobile Hook Up Tour 2
- Runners up will also win the opportunity to open the show in their region

“The Boost Mobile Hook Up Tour is taking hip hop to every corner of the country. Many of the kids from these places would not ordinarily have the chance to see acts like Savage, Dei Hamo, King Kapisi and Fast Crew,” said Dawn Raid’s Brotha D.

“We want to give back to the community by helping kids develop their music and show them how they can achieve their dreams. Supporting new and emerging talent is a key part of Dawn Raid Entertainment and Boost Mobile,” he says.

Dawn Raid has a long history in picking talented artists from obscurity and developing them into major names in the music industry. Recent successes include top selling artists Savage, Mareko and Adeaze.
