FOOD NOT BOMBS benefit gig at CREATION on FRIDAY 7TH OCTOBER... 4 bands 4 only $5!!!

Opening the show are Chch 4 piece THE PICKUPS.
Their distinctive sound recalls the driving guitar of the Velvet Underground and the subtle organ melodies of Belle & Sebastian.

Chris Andrews is a familiar presence through his documentary of the Chch music scene via his Big City website. His solo project A MILLION LIGHTS feeds live guitar through electronic effects to create hypnotic soundscapes.

THE NEW ORIGINALS with their swirling harmonies and poppy guitar echo the best of the late great Sub Pop bands.

In their first headlining show HOUSE OF DOLLS bring their chaotic, angular sound back to the venue where they played their first show just under a year ago.

ALL PROCEEDS on the night go to FOOD NOT BOMBS, a charity that serves FREE, healthy food to the homeless and raises awareness of those in need.
