Born Mark Lizotte, Johnny Diesel first came to be known in NZ as part of the band Johnny Diesel and The Injectors. He then went on to his first solo release as Diesel with the massive smash hit 'Tip Of My Tongue' in 1992. His album 'Hepfidelity' which included the hit song went to number 1 and spent a whopping 30 weeks in the NZ album chart. Prior to this album there was self-titled 'Johnny Diesel and The Injectors' and afterwards 'The Lobbyist' and 'Solid State Rhyme'.

Three time ARIA Award winner for Best Male Artist, Diesel is back and about to bring his world-class act downunder, playing four dates in NZ this May/June. With a new album due for release shortly, this is your opportunity to hear first-hand and solo some of the beautiful new tracks Diesel has been working on these past few years.

Diesel is now signed to Liberation Music in NZ who have just released the first single 'Crazy Town' from his brand new album 'Coathanger Antennae'.
