This is the one to go to

Tomorrow night, a treat.

And a bit of an unofficial (yet legendary!) wrap up to NZ Music Month!

Not just 1, 2 or 3....but 4 of NZ's most talked about “bands of the moment” together for one night only! Motocade, Madison Press, Autozamm and The Tutts - all together in the plush surroundings of the Kings Arms Tavern.

This is especially designed for all of those familiar with the lines "yeah, I keep meaning to see them..." ..."I meant to go to more gigs this NZ Music Month"...."I need to get out and check it out a bit more.." ..."i meant to go see them, but I got stuck watching another band at another venue and there weren't any taxis"....”I thought they were playing at the Dogs - damn it!”

We've gone and made it simpler for you!

Know the names but not the background? Well, here's the run down. We'll make it brief.

Motocade – absolutely ridiculously tight, their delivery is hard to fault. Motocade are polished and exceptional musicians. Their singles “Spectacular Little Death”, “Psycho” and “Off The Road”, from their self titled EP, have received considerable airplay this year on bnet and Kiwi. Video for “Psycho” has just been released this week, filmed at The Pony Club, shot by Jonathan Gerard - the single is also included on the latest Kiwi Hit Disc released by NZ on Air. Motocade are already recording new tracks - with their eyes set firmly on an album release this year.

Autozamm – a name that is familiar, or should be, to most music lovers – Autozamm’s debut album “As For Now” was released last year, and took them to the top twenty in the NZ charts with singles “‘You Don’t Know Me’, ‘Don’t Worry’ and ‘Sweet Love’ and they’re on their way there again with the recently released single and video ‘Ways To Run’. But they’re not just radio friendly - Autozamm are also one of this fine country’s best live acts. “Our on-stage shenanigans have got to the point where I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look my mother in the eye again,” confesses Nick. . And it’s true, Autozamm provide true musical (and occasionally comical) entertainment. At the end of the day, they’re a bunch of kiwi dudes just living a little rock n’ roll… with a shitload of talent and some damn good songs.

The Madison Press – oooh ooooh, gotta love “the new sound” – and the Madison Press are pretty much the definition of exactly that. Impress your friends by being one of the first to have seen them live! Forming in late 2005 from the ashes of indie favourites Augustino and Jooles Clements’ solo project Diefenbacker, The Madison Press have recorded and relased two promising singles “I know (what I’d do)” and “Don’t Say Anything”. On stage, The Madison Press ooze style and experience as anyone who was at their sold out first headline show at The Classic can attest to.

The Tutts – if you haven’t heard their single “K” or follow up “i20” then you haven’t been listening! Both are all over bnet and Kiwi…both are insanely catchy. The Tutts are a fruity wee number who come with ever present smoke machine, dancing girls and eccentric stage presences. Some have even gone so far as to proclaim them as “the next big thing” - oh my! There’s a double page spread of them in this months Real Groove - check it out. Their first video, for “K” was shot in the weekend by Warren Green and the Sticky Pictures crew, keep your eyes peeled for its release in the next couple of weeks.

So there you have it. In the all too familiar surroundings of the Kings Arms. Designed for your comfort! “Just like a comfy slipper that place!”

4 of the best, straight after eachother, one night only. You don’t need to do jack!

Be there early to enjoy all four, and to do your bit to appease arguing about stage times……(you know how it is!)

They’re all friggen wicked. End of story.

Doors from 8.30pm.

$10.00 (all donations go towards the “support starving artists”* fund)
