INXS tour kicks off next month

After four months touring through the U.S and Canada to huge acclaim, the eagerly-awaited INXS "Switched On" tour finally hits New Zealand next month.

The band commenced their 16-show Australian tour last Friday night in Cairns and have sold-out shows scheduled across Australia. There¹s no doubt with new front man J.D Fortune, INXS has been revitalized. They are in red-hot form and can¹t wait to get back on stage in New Zealand.

In other news, INXS has decided to do something a little different with the support acts on their New Zealand tour. The band is keen to support up-and-coming Kiwi talent and so has chosen three new, young bands to showcase at their four NZ dates.

This is a great opportunity for the support acts chosen ­ The Dukes, The Midnight Youth and Autozamm - to experience playing on a big stage with a full house.

Fans will be pleased to welcome a Tour Edition of SWITCH, featuring four tracks recorded during the Canadian shows (Pretty Vegas, Hot Girls, Hungry, Devil¹s Party), all three single videos and a 20-minute documentary on the making of SWITCH. The Tour Edition of SWITCH is in stores now.
