Bobby Brown, one of the biggest selling RnB stars of the 80’s and 90’s, popularized the genre ‘new jack swing’ by blending classic soul, urban grooves and hip hop beats, and with the help of producers Teddy Riley, Babyface and LA Reid, released a string of hits including, Don’t Be Cruel, My Prerogative, Every Little Step, Rock Wit’cha, Humpin Around, Two Can Play That Game, Good Enough, We’ve Got Something In Common, Thug Lovin (with Ja Rule), and many more.

With over 25 years in the business, Bobby Brown began his musical journey in 1981 when he formed New Edition with old school friends Ricky Bell and Michael Bivins. The group was discovered by producer Maurice Starr and within a few years, they shot to superstardom with their worldwide smash hit Candy Girl. New Edition achieved a string of Gold and Platinum selling albums, but Bobby longed for the solo limelight and in 1986 he released his debut solo album which spawned the number one RnB hit Girlfriend. It was the 1988 release Don’t Be Cruel however, that made Brown one of the biggest selling RnB acts of all time, featuring four top five singles including My Prerogative (which was covered by Britney Spears in 2004) and Every Little Step, earning him a Grammy, Soul Train, and two American Music Awards.

In 1996 Brown released his third album Bobby. The album sold millions and featured the hits Humpin’ Around, Good Enough, Get Away, and Something In Common, a duet with his then wife, Whitney Houston. He went on to feature on New Edition’s comeback album Home Again, Ja Rule’s 2002 hit Thug Lovin, and release a Greatest Hits album.
His foray into reality TV saw the series Being Bobby Brown ranked the highest rating show ever on the Bravo network.

He’s been called King of Stage, Brown Bomber, and The Bad Boy of RnB, among other illustrious monikers, but by any title, singer, songwriter, producer, and performer Bobby Brown is a certified superstar. Don’t miss the opportunity to see his dynamic live stage show.
