Snow Patrol Posted: Tue Jul 3, 2007 10:44 am British rock act Snow Patrol have announced details for a two-date New Zealand tour - and there's a surprise in store for fans who buy tickets. Anyone who buys a ticket to either of the shows - on September 14 at Auckland's Vector Arena, and on September 15 at the Westpac Centre in Christchurch - will receive a free copy of the band's new album. Ticket prices cost between $79 and $89, and every ticket purchased will also come with a free copy of the band's third album Final Straw. Gary Lightbody said the deal was a special thank you for fans. "New Zealand is one of our very favourite places and we can't wait to get back in September," he said. "It's such a great way to end the last two years of touring." Snow Patrol last played a sold out New Zealand date in February at the Telstraclear Pacific Events Centre. Opshop will also play at the Auckland show, and Iain Archer will play both dates. Tickets go on sale to the public on July 18. http://www.stuff.co.nz/4115679a4500.html |
