Anika Moa
Posted: Thu Jul 5, 2007 7:19 pm
Almost a year after her successful solo acoustic nationwide tour, Anika Moa
returns to play 2 shows in Wellington and Auckland at the end of July.

The majority of 2006 was spent touring New Zealand, Australia and the UK (the latter as support to New Zealand’s leading chanteuse Bic Runga). Anika returned home in late 2006, and soon began creating her third, and most desirable and courageous album to date.

In Swings the Tide is musically more demanding than Anika’s previous releases. Recorded at her house in Western Springs, Auckland, engaging her favourite live musicians plus the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra and lyrically covering heartbreak & sorrow across to wishful thinking, wonder and lust. With the album due for release in October 2007, Anika will be sharing some of this new material with intimate audiences at the below venues.
