Groovadelica,  the new monthly club night at Forte (2 Fort Lane, Downtown Auckland) is all about bringing the lively, uplifting and eclectic vibe of the Groovadelica radio show (George FM) to a  club audience who are up for one hell of a funky ride.
Two things the radio show is known for are
Great singers & songs
Irresistable, soulful grooves.

Main act: Stella vocalist Cherie Mathieson performing songs from her forthcoming E.P. to be released on Mark De Clive Lowe's Antipodean record label. Plus she'll be singing some soulful, funky classics too.Backed by full live band The Groovadelic Orchestra
VOcal Support from: Tommy Stowers, Sharon Emirali & Ellen Kuiper
Guest DJ: Greg J (The Box/ Cause Celebre)
Resident DJ: Jason Eli (George FM)
Door Charge: $15 with a free Cuba Libre drink (Havana Club, Coke & Lime).
Venue: Forte Club, 2 Fort Lane (off Fort Street), Downtown Auckland.
DATE: Sat 18th August
Opens at 10pm, closes at 5'ish, Band on at 12.30.
Groovadelica happens on the 3rd Saturday of every month.
