Tickets go on sale on Monday for RUSH, Auckland’s largest all ages concert, to be held at Auckland’s Britomart Pavilion on Saturday 10 November.

RUSH will be headlined by Goodnight Nurse, who recently returned to New Zealand after two months in Australia recording the follow up album to their 2006 Gold album “Always and Never.”

Goodnight Nurse lead singer Joel Little says that it’s been a long time since Goodnight Nurse have played an All Ages show in Auckland.

“We can’t wait for November 10. We are really excited about playing all the new songs from our upcoming album, plus all the old ones of course,” Little said.

RUSH will also feature rising stars The Midnight Youth who will open for US band Fall Out Boy next week, following opening slots for Ok Go and INXS in the past twelve months.

Rounding off the line up are newcomers Oresund and Hardcore band Callista.

“We have gone out of our way to ensure that we bring something different to the All Ages scene in Auckland,” says Event Manager Dave Munro.

“Too often it’s the same bands playing at the same venues. I am really stoked about this year’s line up,” he said.

“RUSH is about putting on a great show and communicating positive messages through the powerful medium of music, and I’m really confident that punters will go away stoked after attending RUSH.”
