NZ's South Island is set to rock and get its groove on when EYES OF THE SOUTH: NZ Stoner Rock Festival 2007 blasts into life at the Jetset Lounge in Christchurch on Saturday December 15th.

EYES OF THE SOUTH 07 will comprise one stage, six crushing bands ranging from Kyuss influenced fuzz drenched rock to psychedelic pink floyd-esque jams, and a BBQ for all.

After completing their first NZ Tour and receiving a 4/5 Rip It Up review for their debut EP 'The Rivers And The Rain' , Auckland based sludge rockers THE HOUSE OF CAPRICORN will be heading South to feature on the bill, joining Christchurch's fuzz tyrants SECOND GEAR GRIND and Dunedin's SOULSELLER for blistering headline sets.

The evening will kick off with a free BBQ for all, followed by Christchurch's own THE LOUNGE VIBRATION and DUMPTRUCK, and will end with CATERPILLAR MARCH and their mix of original sounds, plus Kyuss covers, in tribute to the lords of all that is heavy.

Admittance to the show is with door sales only, at an astoundingly cheap early bird price of $7 before 9.30, and $10 after. For a showcase of New Zealand's best stoner acts you wont get it better than that.
