Sonic Youth Posted: Tue Nov 13, 2007 5:01 pm Legendary alternative act Sonic Youth have announced a one-off New Zealand show for February. The show, at the Bruce Mason Centre on February 16, will see Sonic Youth play their entire 1988 album Daydream Nation, as well as a collection of other favourite tracks. The album is widely considered to be Sonic Youth's best. The band was part of the alternative "grunge" movement in the '90s, alongside The Pixies and Nirvana. Tickets for the show go on sale on November 19. |
