L. A. Mitchell: Live at the Matterhorn Posted: Sun Sep 21, 2008 8:50 am It was the launch pad of Fat Freddys Drop and now the name Live at the Matterhorn returns with a showcase of a very special performance at Wellington's legendary venue with a rising star of New Zealand music LA Mitchell announces the release of her new album Live at the Matterhorn, recorded in one unforgettable evening April 23 2008. The entirely independent Kiwi singer-songwriter, somewhat a rarity among New Zealand's female musicians, builds on the success of her 2007 album Debut with an album that would solidify her status as one of the rising talents of homegrown music.
