When December 31 rolls around, people are often presented a simple choice: a mud bath or a dust storm. But there is a new choice for New Year celebrations this year.

Island Time, to be held on Waiheke Island overlooking the pristine Hauraki Gulf, presents an exclusive and intimate party that boasts an international calibre line-up and an emphasis on a unique New Year's Eve party experience.

Island Time will be held December 31st at Waiheke Island's SandBar overlooking the sunset on Oneroa Beach. The event will be limited to only 400 tickets and will be held on one night only.

The line-up spans many different genres of dance music, including funk, dub
electro, hip-hop, breaks and drum'n'bass.

Electronica legend The Nomad performs a full live set with MC Free & Lorenzo (sax). Joining him will be a live performance from Sydney's heavy weight dub outfit The Versionaries, with DJ support from YOniSIS (Waiheke), R.I.A. (Auckland), Cadence (Wellington) & Range (Wellington).

Wellington's acclaimed VJs The Supervisors, who recently supported VJ pioneers Hexstatic, will perform a live visual mix.

Regular ferry schedule operates on Dec 31, last ferry leaves Auckland 11.45pm
Public holiday ferry schedule operates on Jan 1, first ferry leaves Waiheke 8am
