Phoenix Foundation-frontman Sam F. Scott rises from the ashes of autumn touring to bring his solo project to the Coast. Managing to fit a gig in between movie soundtracks, Sam is coming back to his roots with his all-star band in a one-off concert on the 30th of May.

‘Compared with the sumptuous sonics of the Phoenixes, Scott has a folksy flavour with the band he calls Bunnies on Ponies (moonlighters from such reputable Wellington outfits as Cassette and Little Bushman).’ - The Listener.

Kapiti Blues-legend Shayn ‘Hurricane’ Wills will be opening for the B.O.P. Shayne has played with the likes of Midge Marsden, Bullfrog Rata, The Rodger Fox Big Band and Don Mcglashin of the Muttonbirds to name a few (kiwi) legends. His one-man multi-instrumental show has been a huge success in festivals across the country. As he puts it ‘i just have to make sure
my foot keeps tapping, if you don’t want me to play, just nail my foot to the floor’.
