THE TUTTS ANNOUNCE NATIONWIDE TOUR IN JULY & AUGUST
With Support From Hot Little Hands (Aus) and Kerretta

Auckland dance-rock, five-piece The Tutts hit the road throughout July and August for a nationwide tour in support of their debut album ‘Get In The Club’. The band will be joined for shows in the South Island by local angular rock instrumental three-piece Kerretta, and in the North Island by Melbourne five-piece and Rubber Records recording artist, Hot Little Hands.

The Tutts first burst upon the scene with an army of synth-laced rock songs that made you dance in dark clubs where the smoke poured through the crowd and the strobe light made the dance floor appear as if the puppeteer above had gone mad. Their highly anticipated debut album ‘Get In The Club’, released at the end of last year, contained a string of radio hits such as “K”, “White Out” and “All Over Town” which conjured images of debauchery, dark hallways, and a band steeped in nocturnal mystery. The band’s renowned electric and exhilarating live show makes this tour a must-see for the coming months.

This tour introduces North Island kiwi audiences to Australian newcomers Hot Little Hands, showcasing songs from their debut album ‘Dynamite In Black And White’. Moving between sleek pop, garagey disco and psychedelic blues with a little blue eyed soul thrown in, Hot Little Hands produce soaring five-part harmonies, haunting synth and assuredly sexy lead vocals, making them the perfect accompaniment to The Tutts. Those in the south yet to experience the propulsive, driving rock from Kerretta will have a chance to see them push the envelope of tone and dynamics in an intense set. Their catchy, sometimes ambient brand of molten-core will appeal to fans of The Swans and Bailterspace, but discerning listeners will know the trio peddle a uniquely atmospheric take on rock.

The Tutts will in turn reciprocate support duties for Hot Little Hands later in the year on a tour of Australia, taking their unique sound to Australian audiences.
