After the successful release of their debut album ‘Iron’, Cairo Knife Fight have announced a NZ Tour performing in just over 2 weeks.

Nick Gaffaney (Anika Moa, Goldenhorse, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Dimmer, Hollie Smith) and Aaron Tokona (Weta) will perform as a two piece on the Cairo Knife Fight ‘IRON’ tour.

Cairo Knife Fight is best described as a mix of rock, soul and beats. Led by Gaffaney playing drums at the front of the stage, songs grow, twist and take unexpected turns, all with a propulsive rhythm section. Some two years on from the first jam sessions, Cairo Knife Fight is one of the country’s most unique live acts.

Cairo Knife Fight Tour dates are as follows:

Friday 14th August - WELLINGTON – Bodega *
Saturday 15th August - AUCKLAND - at Kings Arms *
Thursday 20th August - CHRISTCHURCH - Dux De Lux - FREE
