Hi all,


Went to a pretty awesome gig last week, was the Myspace Music Launch held at galatos last wednesday,

This was pretty much a promotional launch where people are now able to make their own playlists on MySpace which is sweet cause I hated going to YouTube to listen to a specific track, now i am able to make my own playlists for free!

Surprised to say were impressed with all the bands played especially the Early Birds, Family Cactus and Naked and Famous who I havent seen before who played well...

The Brunettes played some of their new stuff which was cool but my overall highlight from their set is when they played Her Hairaigami Set which is a fave of mine from The Brunettes.

Also the Midnight Youth played to their usual 'epic anthem style rock ' as the last act. This is probably first time i have seen them play a longer set and they still sound pretty awesome live.

Their guitarist from midnight youth (blonde dude) jumping off, probably roughly 1 storey high PA speaker to finish the night off was pretty rockstar...havent seen that b4 in NZ! the usual crowd dive in the usual metal crowd thats about it!...

man his legs must of been sore in the morning!

Another highlight also were the free Coke! and especially the free booze if you were over 18!



Overall, was a good concert that MySpace held and best of all.. it was free!
