Mozelee South Island Summer Tour

Auckland rock act Mozelee is touring the South Island on the back of their latest radio single and music video Breathe. The band is returning to the source of inspiration for the song Breathe this summer.

Frontman Marc Hamilton says, “Touring the South Island in conjunction with the release of Breathe is really fitting. The song was written at a time when I needed to get out of the city and clear my head. I found myself escaping to the South Island. That’s where Breathe was born.”

Mozelee will play six nights from Tuesday 28 December to Sunday 2 January, with support from Christchurch bands Falter and Ample Cleavage.

The single Breathe continues to grow at radio and is being played by several networks and stations across the country. It features on NZ on Air’s latest Kiwi Hit Disc, No.68.

The Breathe music video will be released on Wednesday 8 December, and is being directed by Sam Peacocke (The Cinematic Alliance) of television commercial company Film Construction. The video is to be shot to 35mm film at Oktobor’s Studio 105, Auckland, on Saturday 27 November. It will be based around a band performance featuring a live audience.

“We can’t wait to make the Breathe clip with Sam and his crew,” says Hamilton, “and we’re looking forward to working with the many fans who have offered to help out with the crowd scenes.”

Mozelee’s previous music video Something Real received significant airplay on both C4 and Juice TV, and was a finalist at this year’s Juice TV Awards for Breakthrough Video.
