Midwave Breaks NZ Tour May 2023 - Hamilton
Posted: Sat Mar 4, 2023 4:06 pm
Sat May 6 @ Last Place, Hamilton

Midwave Breaks embark on their first Headline tour, featuring 9 shows across the motu for NZ Music Month!

Featuring former Supergroove drummer Paul Russell, and singer-songwriter Bruce Conlon, the Tauranga Alt-Rock Duo have made serious waves at Rock Radio since their launch in 2021, with 3 independent singles in the top 10 NZ Rock Chart and a further 3 breaching the top 20. The pair also co-founded late 90’s Rockers ‘Eight’, and the show highlights a reprise of their best moments as well.

In celebration of NZ Music Month, the tour is proud to feature a Local Special Guest Artist at each show, offering an opportunity to support local music, and discover emerging kiwi talent.

Midwave Breaks are a modern take on the soundtrack of their youth, evoking hints of Springsteen and Petty, Cornell and Vedder. With an innate ability to craft songs that capture a moment, Midwave Breaks is purposefully retrospective mixed with the new. Don’t miss your chance to catch this wave, grab your tickets now!
