Three of the country’s hottest recording artists – collectively finalists for nine Tuis in the upcoming Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards – have been named as the stars taking a little bit of the awards to Wellington and Christchurch.

Dane Rumble, J Williams and Young Sid take the stage at the Wellington Town Hall on September 16 and Christchurch’s James Hay Theatre the following night as part of the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards Finalists Showcase gigs.

For the first time in 46 years, the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards (VNZMAs) is hitting the road, bringing the magic of this major music event to the regions.

This year Wellington and Christchurch music lovers get a taste of the action, with a live Finalists Showcase on September 16, 2010 at the Wellington Town Hall and September 17, 2010 at the James Hay Theatre in Christchurch. The show will consist of live performances by three of this year's VNZMA finalists, with the line-up set to be announced on September 1, 2010. Tickets are $25 plus applicable booking fees available through Ticketek.
