Wellington, 18th September 2008 – MySpace.com and The Rock have announced a partnership to find an opening act for The Rock main stage at Southern Amp 2008.

The winning band will win the chance to be the opening live band on The Rock main stage at Southern Amp in Christchurch on November 9th, playing on the same stage as

The Dandy Warhols, The Living End, Seether, The Charlatans, Goodnight Nurse and Fur Patrol.

For this once in a lifetime opportunity bands should register their details at www.myspace.com/kiwihub from the 18th September. Judging will take place on The Rock’s

Advance Warning show on 8pm on Wednesday 8th October.
