Auckland based four-piece band, The Rabble, influenced by punk rock, are on the road throughout New Zealand in February, in promotion of their debut album 'No Clue, No Future'.
Brothers, Rupe and Chazz Hill-Hayr, started the band in 2001 and have since been joined by Roi Irwin and Sam Hume. After success releasing three EPs and gaining a good response from their single 'Addicted To The Bone', the band spent a good half of 2005 writing and recording for their 13-track album. Tracks were recorded and produced separately by Dave Rhodes (award winning mixer for Blindspott’s debut album), Welsh producer Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, Lost Prophets, et al) and Chazz Rabble. The album is available nationwide at Real Groovy Records and Mango Music, Palmerston North.
The bands second single from the album, 'Carry On' is playlisted on radio stations throughout the country and the video, directed by Greg Page can be seen on Juice TV, C4 and Alt TV.
The bands 3rd single, 'Friday Night' will be out within the next few months, with another New Zealand tour coming up.
