Ten Pennies For Your Jack Tour
Ruptus Jack's never-before seen New Zealand tour with Tenpenny Joke (Melbourne)
You should be familiar with RUPTUS JACK from their singles and videos 'And I' and 'Not Later Now' - and let’s face it, it’s impossible to get over-familiar with these guys. So, to help promote the release of 'Lazy Eye', the third single from RUPTUS JACK’s seven-track mini-album, 'Roses And French Lessons', the band will embark on a stage-crawl (aka “tour”) of both Australia and New Zealand in March and April of 2006.
Joining RUPTUS JACK on this extensive, transcontinental drinking binge will be Melbourne’s own Tenpenny Joke.
Not to be short-changed, Ruptus Jack’s long-suffering sponsor Jagermeister will yet again be coming to the party with its exotic European refreshments both in Australia and New Zealand. 'Roses And French Lessons' merchandise will be available at the shows to intrigue you, clothe you and generally re-engineer your persona.
Ruptus Jack will be playing their first Australian gig in Sydney on Thursday, 2 March. The tour will end on Sunday 12 March with their last performance in Melbourne including a Triple R live performance and several personal appearances at local radio stations throughout their trip.
Hopefully both bands will survive the Australian gigs without any major damage as Ruptus Jack will return the favour in April and will then take Tenpenny Joke under their wings here in NZ.
