Auckland based heavy rockers Primacy and Wellington based
Broke are hitting Auckland, Mount Maunganui, Masterton and Wellington this
October in support of their new releases, with support from Skinny Hobos in
Auckland and Merrin in Masterton and Wellington.
After recently signing with Wellington based indie label Southern Collective
Music, Primacy are excited to announce the release of their first single, Shade
Black (release date October 16th), a melodically dark journey that explores the
lighter and heaviest aspects of the bands influences which include Alice In
Chains, Deftones, Lynch Mob and A Perfect Circle. Their first single was
recorded and co-produced with Zorran Mendonsa Productions, with plans to
release a 5 track E.P in 2016.
Joining Primacy are Broke, they bring their music up to Auckland for the first
time in support of their newly finished debut album, Do Not Consume, produced
by TrinityRoots frontman Warren Maxwell at his home studio in Featherston.
Broke take influence from such bands as Primus, Incubus, Nirvana and Queens of
the Stone Age and fuse their voices to create an exciting sound that is
genuinely their own.
