Alternative grunge pop outfit Cheshire Grimm have unleashed their anticipated new single Awaken. The empowering anthem is the first track from their second EP Rain or Shine - due for release early next year.

The song is a raw and powerful ballad, that is simultaneously funky and catchy - A Grimm trademark. Psychedelic guitars and ethereal vocals infiltrate the mind, and remain trapped there for days.

The creative chemistry between the bands charismatic front woman Kat Waswo, and guitarist/singer Lora Thompson is unmistakeable.

Having gone through various changes and progressions in the last year, the band have re-emerged stronger than ever.

To celebrate the release of this new track, North Island tour dates with friends and fellow rockers Skinny Hobos and Armed in Advance are set for December; paving the way for a New Zealand & Australian mini-tour early 2017.
