Deadboy Records is excited to announce the signing of Wellington's Scorn of Creation.

Playing a style of aggressive, raw death metal reminiscent of the genre's pioneers such as Morbid Angel, Suffocation and Cannibal Corpse with a modern technical twist, the debut album is like a breath of fresh air in the modern climate of extreme music.

Vocalist Kris Gillan (ex Mindfuck), Guitarist Seth Jackson (ex Bulletbelt) Bassist George Prowse (ex Backyard Burial, The Dauntless) and prolific drummer Shaun Anderson (The Dauntless, Saving Grace, Depths) are a seasoned collective of some of New Zealand's most crushing live acts and have come together to form a brutal new project set to take the underground metal scene by storm.

With a debut album release show booked at Valhalla, Wellington on the day of the record's release (2 Feb), Metal fans are sure to be pleased when the band hit the stage to crush skulls and debut the impressive material.

Only a few days after their debut show and album release, Scorn Of Creation will then travel to the end of the North Island to crush skulls with their intense brand of Death Metal alongside international heavyweights Cattle Decapitation on 8 February at the Kings Arms in Auckland.

Since the band started posting teaser videos of pre-production and tracking for their inaugural effort, countless New Zealand metal fans have been salivating in anticipation of the release's announcement.

Scorn of Creation features guest vocals from Carnal's Dan Birrell and Bulletbelt's Joelene Tempest and hits store shelves and digital retailers on February 2nd 2018.
