Pull Down the Sun are excited to announce their nationwide album release tour for their debut album Of Valleys and Mountains. Hitting 13 venues around New Zealand, PDtS are eager to bring their music to as many towns as possible, including an all ages show in Palmerston North.

“We’re extremely proud to release Of Valleys And Mountains, bringing forward stories of ancient Aotearoa passed down generations. 12 tracks culminating in an hour long musical journey years in the making.”

Released on 12/09/20, Of Valleys and Mountains is a colourful concept album that channels their Maori heritage, exploring local legends that have been passed down through generations. PDtS’s debut album is centered around the Maori myths of the Patupaiarehe and the Turehu, an aboriginal people absorbed by Polynesian immigrants to New Zealand 1000 years ago. With amazing original hand drawn artwork by Chris Panatier available as prints, two new tshirt designs by Miles Ward (Forward Design), a stunning CD and new vinyl coming soon, Pull Down the Sun is bringing new exciting merchandise to all shows.

PDtS are proud to host some amazing local acts and other support bands from around Aotearoa, each show promises a great mix of quality NZ musicians. Including Tool tribute band Shed, Auckland’s Coridian and Crooked Royals, Napier’s Come to Dolly and System of a Down covers band Steal this Band from the North Island and Christchurch’s Elidi and Fall of Them, plus so many more.
