Two of New Zealand’s most popular guitar/electronic rock bands, Mi-Sex and Stellar*, combine forces for three special double-bill shows in Auckland and Tauranga.

The two classic Kiwi bands will perform:

Wednesday 8 March: Totara St, Tauranga
Thursday 9 March: Par?oa Brewing, Whangapar?oa

Friday 10 March, Powerstation, Auckland

Tickets go on sale at 9am Wednesday 7 December from Plus1.co.nz

The hits from Mi-Sex and Stellar* span several generations, from the late 1970's to mid-2000's. The bands and their fans have enjoyed 14 singles in the New Zealand Top 40, with many of them firm favourites on the Saturday night RTR countdown.

Mi-Sex are crossing the ditch from their Australian base to perform pulsating hits like Computer Games, People, Blue Day, But You Don’t Care, Falling in and Out and Graffiti Crimes.

Plus, Stellar* are ready to rock with chart hits like Violent, All It Takes, Part of Me, Every Girl, Undone, For A While, What You Do and many more.

Stellar* singer Boh Runga says, “We can’t wait to play these summer shows with the amazing Mi-Sex. Their combination of awesome songs, great synths and guitars has made a huge impression on us. Get ready for some fantastic shows!”

Special guests for each show will be announced in the New Year.

Mi-Sex and Stellar* are also part of the festival line-ups for Selwyn Sounds in Canterbury on Saturday 4 March, and Hutt Sounds in Upper Hutt on Sunday 5 March. Details at SelwynSounds.co.nz and HuttSounds.co.nz
