“Diverse and perverse - the new album from Wellington's Phoenix Foundation seals its reputation as the best band in the country”, Grant Smithies. Sunday Star Times. 14 May 2005.

“It’s hard to think of a local precedent for an album like Pegasus. It’s epic without being pretentious, sensitive yet hardly wimpy, full of glorious pop melodies yet never nagging the listener with repetitive hooks.” Nick Bollinger. ‘The Mix’ Radio NZ. 21 May 2005.
