May 26 sees the return of the Style Explosion in a new venue, with #4 taking place at the saloon bar at the Outback, and featuring 4second fuse, DateMonthYear (blue) and St. Lucy.

Spokesperson Trevor Faville explains, “The style explosion began as way to get a branded regular event happening in Hamilton, so that bands playing original music gain an opportunity to build an audience”

So far 3 events have been run but a lack of venue at the end of 2005 put the event on hold. “Now, with a new venue at the Outback bar, the hope is that we will get a chance to gain a foothold in the potential audience that this venue offers”

The may 26th event will feature DateMonthYear (blue), 4second fuse and St Lucy -playing one of only two gigs they have planned for the year.

The event is free and is generously supported by the Generator radio station.
