Vodafone's 3G technology enabled Evermore's album launch show to be streamed live via your phone - whatever will they think of next!

In Auckland last night at The Transmission Room, history was made as Evermore became the first band in Australasia to have their concert streamed LIVE to Vodafone 3G mobiles.

The pioneering new technology was created by the whiz kids at Vodafone in conjunction with Satellite Media who shot the show for broadcast on mobile. This meant that you could watch Evermore's album launch show on your Vodafone 3G mobile from the comfort of your living room, bar stool, bus ride...wherever!

An unprecedented number of fans tuned in to their Vodafone 3G mobiles to watch the live stream meaning Evermore fans up and down the country could watch their favourite band and witness first hand this new era in watching live events.

Evermore were "stoked" to be at the forefront of Vodafone's new mobile technology and didn't disappoint on the live front, ripping through new songs from their gold sophomore album Real Life which debuted at #2 on the NZ Album Chart last week.
